The CSU Drone Flight School is designed to teach all material needed to pass the initial FAA Part 107 exam, including flight safety, FAA regulations, hands-on flight experience and more!

This Drone Flight School is hosted by Avon Police Department in cooperation with CSU and the I-70 West Post Grant Training region.  The funding for this course is provided by the Colorado Peace Officer Standards Training Regional Grant Program.  Registration is tuition free and is only open to Colorado Peace Officers.  Peace Officers employed for an agency in the I-70 West Training Region will have priority until May 1, 2021.  After May 1, registration will be open to all Colorado Peace Officers.

Registration will be limited to three officers per agency until April 1, 2021.  If there are spots open after April 1, 2021 agencies may register one additional person per person.  No agency can have more than four attendees (unless there are seats open 15 days prior to the start of the class.)
