About the Event

This class is grant funded, 15 spots will be reserved for I-70 West POST Grant Training Region Peace Officers.  If you are outside the training region, please register with this site and the I-70 West Training Coordinator will provide instructions on how to register and pay with FBI Leeda.  

The FBI-LEEDA Supervisor Leadership Institute is a cutting edge 4  1/2-day program built especially for first-line supervisors and middle  managers with the goal of enhancing their leadership competencies. The  Supervisor Leadership Institute faculty members are senior law  enforcement leaders who are committed to passing on their lessons  learned.

Attendees will be engaged in personality diagnostics, leadership case  studies, mentoring, developing your people, performance management,  risk management and credibility. This institute is student-centered and  rich in facilitated dialogue and group work.

This course is hosted by the Avon Police Department and funded by the I-70 West POST Grant Training Region & POST Grant Training Project.  

The I-70 West POST Grant Training Region will fund 15 peace officers in the I-70 West Grant Training Region (Summit, Eagle, Lake, Pitkin, Garfield, and Rio Blanco Counties to attend.  Peace Officers outside the region or in excess of the 15 grant funded positions may pay for and register directly with FBI Leeda.
