Description:
Three day tactical Casualty Combat Care is a National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) approved course conducted by Colorado Mountain College and instructed by Dr. Joseph Livengood of the Roaring Fork Fire Rescue Authority. TCCC is appropriate for law enforcement who may be required to provide combat care to a fellow peace officers or civilians as they wait for an ambulance or other resources. Expect about three to fours hours of required prework to be completed on your own prior to class. Â New this year is the three day format allowing for more scenario based training.
Additional: Lodging and meals are the responsibility of each student/agency. There are several lodging options in the Roaring Fork area.
COST: The course is grant funded by the I-70 West POST Training Region and Colorado POST.
I-70 West Region peace officers are eligible to attend tuition free. Peace officers attending from outside of the I-70 West region may register at any time with the understanding their registration may be waitlisted if I-70 West Region peace officers fill up the available spots.
